This means each player sees their own loot and not loot that has dropped for the other people in the group. Blizz has never made their loot tables public, as far as I know. MF does not impact Ancient or Primal chances at all. It only impacts the chance for a Legendary to drop.
Of course, if you have more Legendary items, you have more chances for one to be Ancient or Primal. Thanks for the answer! So why is better to have magic find in a closed difficulty system like in D2?
Because this is an aRPG where the main part of playing this type of genre of game is about making those decisions on how to gear.
