Who is on my wifi smb
While that may work, it doesn't sound like it's what you want. Can you take a shot at configuring it as a wireless bridge? Sorry, just edited my above post. The instruction I may have missed included adding a virtual interface in AP mode, and setting the device to work as a router rather than in Gateway mode.
Everything else, I'm fairly sure I did already. In any case, it seems to be fixed - everything's able to connect to everything else. Your mistake was "client bridge-routed" mode. What you wanted to do was to connect the DD-WRT to the wireless network and then connect wired devices to it, so treating the wifi as just another port on the switch.
This precludes all routing. What you wanted was "client-bridge" mode. The router disables all routing and connects to a wifi network. It then passes packets between its wired ports and the wifi.
Can't get a connection to my PC. The developer's website is down. I can't seem to find a way to get support. While the issue may be simple, I don't see a way at this time to request assistance. Maybe this will work. And of course, if things change, I'd gladly revise my review. Therefore, at this time, I can only give it one star. Note, even when I click "Report a Problem" within iTunes, it tries to take me to the developer's website, but it says "Service Unavailable.

Did you heard about the recent may worlwide cyberattack called wannacry , that mainly exploited a vulnerability in SMB protocol? Think carefully! Is there any reason? For practical purposes though, no there isn't any reason.
I am acutely aware of the massive attacks that have been happening lately, that is why I am wondering why not just disable it by default. It just seems to me that most likely there is no reason to have it open, but I am curious if there is something that a lot of Windows guys would be doing that requires it. Your question and then your comment above don't quite line up. You state "is there any reason to leave SMB open?
